I am excited to share that our warming Indicator technology for LBNL's infant warmer was selected as USPTO's 2020 Patents for Humanity honorable mentions. This low-cost, re-usable, and non-electric infant warmer maintains a temperature of 37 degrees Celsius to prevent neonatal hypothermia. It is capable of staying warm approximately six hours when a parent is not available for skin-to-skin care. The award announcement can be found here and here.
